We are a small family-run business in Northwest Arkansas. We are Kendall and Tammy Cross. We own and operate Ozark Mountain Leather™. Kendall does most of the leatherwork, and Tammy helps behind the scenes with the orders, customer service, shipping, and many other duties. Our Son, Hunter Cross, works behind the scenes doing quality control, product finishing, and helping with shipping and receiving while also attending College full-time. Kendall's sister, Karmen, also works for the business; we are lucky to have her.
We handcraft all our leather goods from our own designs and patterns right here in our workshop in Northwest Arkansas. We try and use only leather made and purchased here in the USA.
Each item we make is made one at a time, so you know you are getting a quality product. We make all sorts of things, but our specialty is our handmade custom leather rifle and custom leather shotgun slings, bison leather Bible covers, clutch wallets, and other unique leather bags.
We have to say we are pretty proud of our custom leather rifle and shotgun slings. We have handpicked our leather to make these rifle slings from and they are durable yet soft to the hand straight out of the box. They hold up well and make great one-of-a-kind gifts. We make each custom rifle sling by hand one at a time and customize each one to our client's specifications. Check out our Build Your Own section for yourself. We can even get a completely personalized stamp made for an additional charge. If you want a logo or specific graphic, we can do that if you can supply the image. We also make our very popular Bison Leather Bible covers. Each one is made to fit your book's dimensions. Our bison leather is sourced and tanned here in the USA, and it has the perfect feel and look. It has a rustic look and is durable. It will be the last cover you will ever need. Each one is unique and can be personalized just for you.
